Open-air museum recreating a Victorian town in the Ironbridge Gorge, where costumed staff run the shops and trades, you can swap modern money for Victorian coins, and there are fairground rides and an adventure playground. It is in Shropshire, well outside our usual area, and now run by the National Trust. Uneven surfaces, so plan for pushchairs.
